A fine art-deco building on the sea front the Beach Ballroom has hosted functions ranging from Beatles' concerts through royal visits and graduation ceremonies to Lee McAllister's championship boxing bouts.

The dance floor is still one of Scotland’s finest: it floats on fixed steel springs which gives the dancers an extra bounce.
